Fish and chips


Battered fish, sausages and chips, some home made mayonaise (that's the Belgian touch and absolutely not done here) and tomato sauce, all served on greese proof paper: a very common Kiwi dinner.

Let's not talk about the nutricious value of this meal. The fact is that takeaways are amazingly popular in NZ. Why would you cook if you can feed a whole family on Chinese, fish and chips, Indian curry or Turkish kebab for less than 10 euro? The result might already be visible in four months time...
